Training Waiver

Aikido is a martial art and sometimes accidents happen. Students who wish to join the dojo must sign and return this waiver. We encourage students who have not signed this waiver to review it carefully before signing and returning it. Amongst other things, this waiver helps to identify the inherently dangerous nature of training in a martial art and outline what conduct will be expected of the student while training.

Why sign a waiver?

Because waivers help protect your interests and the interest of the dojo. This waiver is required for the dojo to maintain its martial arts insurance and to protect everyone's legal interests if a student should be injured during class. It is important students read and understand the information found within the waiver. Signing the waiver is acknowledge the student understands the document.
